Shea Balms

Shea Balms

After all the gardening is done; hands, feet, just about all of me feels the need for some shea butter. This is the best stuff. We use fair traded and unadulterated butters that are organic and purely unrefined.

Description   This lush butter is extracted from the pit of a fruit, resembling a plum, which grows on the Mangifolia Tree, also called the Shea Nut Tree. The moisturizing power of Shea Butter was once a revered secret of the natives in the savannas of Central Africa, where the Mangifolia Tree grows wild.

Benefits   Traditionally Shea Butter has been used in Africa as a healing balm for rheumatism, muscle aches, burns, and light wounds. Shea Butter softens and nourishes skin and contains beneficial vegetable fats that promote cell regeneration and circulation, providing a more youthful, vibrant appearance. It also contains natural sun-protectants. Shea Butter is almost magical in its healing effects.

Instructions   Do you have dry, cracked heals? Perform a little test. Apply Shea Balm to only one heel at night before bed, for about a week. See if you notice a difference. You will. A little goes along way. Scoop a small amount from tin or bar and massage into dry skin for immediate relief. Shea Balm is perfect for your whole body, and especially fabulous for trouble areas like elbows, knees and heels.
